  • The project involved replacing a Deaerator (DA) Tank that serves the central steam boiler plant, providing improved energy efficiency.
  • New flow meters, which monitor make-up water usage, were specified, along with two new water softeners. Redundant circulation pumps were also included in the design to guard against critical failure of the system.
  • The existing underground propane storage capacity was expanded by adding two (2) underground 30,000 gallon tanks and connecting them into the existing propane distribution system. The design included:
    • Replacing the existing propane mixing station
    • Addition and replacement of fuel flow meters and fuel level meters for proper fuel monitoring of the new tanks
