A three-floor addition to Nash General Hospital to serve as a new Emergency Care Center and Heart Center. The Emergency Care Center included a “Fast Track” capability to improve patient care and to reduce patient wait times. The addition includes a 15,000 square foot penthouse and a 4,000 square foot generator building.
Central Energy Plant upgrades to support this addition included:
1 Fire Tube Boiler (500 BHP) and associated equipment
1 centrifugal chiller (1,000 ton) variable speed, interlocked in parallel with 4 existing 1,000 ton chillers
1 cooling tower cell (1,000 ton), two 1.75 KW generators and associated paralleling and switch gear
