A three-floor addition to Nash General Hospital to serve as a new Emergency Care Center and Heart Center, including a 15,000 square foot penthouse and a 4,000 square foot generator building.
The Emergency Care Center included a “Fast Track” capability to improve patient care and to reduce patient wait times.
Central Energy Plant upgrades to support this addition included:
One (1) Fire Tube Boiler (500 BHP) and associated equipment
One (1) centrifugal chiller (1,000-ton) variable speed, interlocked in parallel with 4 existing 1,000-ton chillers
One (1) cooling tower cell (1,000 ton), two 1.75 MW generators and associated paralleling and switch gear
One (1) 20,000-gallon underground fuel storage tank
